PSAM Goes to Lubbock, TX

January 17 marked the first official National Project Save A Mouth Day with multiple new PSAM chapter launches. The area of Lubbock, TX, will now see the benefits from a local chapter, thanks to Dr. Robert Ioppolo of Hill & Ioppolo Oral and Facial Surgeons of Lubbock. The speakers in attendance were State Representative Dustin Burrows, Principal of Roscoe Wilson Elementary, Paula January, cardiologist, Dr. Jason Wischmeyer, and South Plains District Dental Society member, Dr. Summer Ketron. The evening was filled with insightful conversation about the current state of Lubbock oral health and commenced with attendees signing the PSAM pledge, promising to further oral health awareness and make a difference. We are happy to have the community of Lubbock as a new PSAM chapter and look forward to all of the good they will soon do locally.
