On Thursday, November 2, 2017, selfies saved local smiles. At the start of October, the Fresno chapter of PSAM launched the I Save Smiles campaign as a community effort to spread oral health awareness. Fresno’s patients took selfies with their staff to further spread awareness about the importance of oral hygiene. With every photo posted, an oral health package was donated to Poverello House, a local homeless shelter. The outpouring of community support was beyond imaginable, resulting in an incredible donation of 100 oral health packages that the Fresno chapter was honored to be part of.
